Walked in on Ben hollering at lunch time :( He had a really busy day being pulled and prodded and jabbed and manouvered. Unfortunatley he has another infection so various bloods and swabs taken for culture. Temperature really high and in quite a lot of pain early in the day. He had the rest of the stomach staples removed today. Poor boy was in terrible pain with his tinky winky (hahaha sorry Ben embarrassing mummy moment lol) Not for to long though they gave us a syringe of magic numbing cream - thanks Doc ;)) They think he has a urine infection as well.
Even though Ben felt so crap and with a 39. something or the other temperature he insisted on working with the physios - he was amazing, they had him sitting on the edge of the bed and because him stomach swelling has decreased he was nearly in a sitting 90' angle without to much probls with the rods pushing in him tummy. They tried to get him to manouvre into a special chair but the apparatus were wrong - FANTASTIC effort Beno you are a wonder boy!!!!
Watch this space - tomorrow they coming armed with bannana board and wheelchair ............
Funny old day lots of lows but what a HIGH!
