Tuesday 31st May Day 9

Omg what a mental day!!

Bit of a mummy melt down nut nut day today but results were positive as we got lots of answers :)

Ben is doing really well he is our little ox - so full of strength! He was moved yesterday evening to a different intensive care ward where there were less critical patients for ben to see. Over the last couple of days he has gradually had drips and canulas removed and has coped very well. He has been taken off of some meds as well. Ben is still really morphined up because of pain and is therefore still sleeping loads - however saying that today has been his best day :))
Because of mummy melt down we got to speak to some of his surgeons and the team looking after him. Good news is that the external fixator for the pelvic repair should do the job so as long as we stay on track is is likely that he won't have to have an internal repair but obviously he will need to have the irons removed (that was for you Rachel!) to be continued x
